The Unholy Trinity: Son Of Godless

-John Moraga

Part of the series: The Unholy Trinity

Human “nature” can physically manifest the spiritual enticements of the Father of Lies, Satan, whenever we pursue our humanly wants (not our needs). Unless we are genuinely seeking to align our own will with God’s will, we are entertaining a life of hedonism. If we believe the lie presented to Eve, that we can be as God, then we allow our humanity to be the arbiter of morality, of what is right and wrong in our lives. An arbiter is necessary, because God is self-evident. Whether a person believes in the one true God, or believes in some type of god-figure, an arbiter of existence is undeniable. Even so-called atheists recognize this first truth, but they choose to let their denial rationalize their dethroning of God, in order to ascend to His thrown themselves. However, they are plagued with cognitive dissonance, which develops fanciful, albeit humorous, arguments in defense of their atheism. It boils down to this: whether a person consciously or subconsciously ignores God’s authority, his humanity will eventually replace it.

Humanism is the physical actualization of Satanism. Just as Christ is the incarnation of the Father, Humanism is the embodiment of the lies first perpetuated by Satan in the Garden of Eden. Humanism can be understood as a philosophy, which has various interpretations throughout history, most notably as a social movement during the Renaissance. However, the seeds of most schools of humanism have been planted by the ancient Greeks, in particular by Protagoras of Abdera, who basically claimed that man is the measure of all things. In other words, human beings, however imperfect, are the ultimate arbiters of morality and ethics. Obviously, I am drastically simplifying this claim for the sake of further developing my own thesis of this article. Nonetheless, it is not a very curvaceous road from Protagoras to the popularization of moral relativism during the 19th and 20th centuries. Obscuring the parameters of objective morality has been the modus operandi of Satan since the Garden of Eden. True moral objectivity is only found in the Holy Scriptures, and its author is God Himself. Thus, undermining His authority provides humans license to usurp it.

…but God knows that as soon as you eat of it your eyes will be opened and YOU will be like divine beings who know good and bad.” Genesis 3:5

I will use the term moral relativism interchangeably with humanism, because morality is relative to the authority of an individual human (or group of humans) according to the philosophy of moral relativism.

Consider just two applications of moral relativism:

1. The Nazis.

2. Feminism vs. transgenderism.

1. If morality is truly relative to human authority, then one could argue that the Nazis were justified in their tyranny. One person's moral code is just as valid as another person's moral code, according to moral relativism. So, Hitler's beliefs and political agenda were no different than the rights and freedoms interwoven in the fabric of American society. Thus, what moral authority did the Allies have to impede on Hitler's aspirations of eugenics superiority and global domination?

2. I find it most fascinating that those advocating for liberal social policies have succeeded to cause strife between two politically liberal groups, feminists and transgenders. Feminism has historically sought to radically elevate the humanity of women, even going so far as to emasculate men and rule over them. Enter the zenith of the transgender movement. Transgenderism has recently gained unprecedented acceptance in society within a relatively short period of time, and it ironically undermines the efforts of feminism. If a man can transition into a woman, what unique and powerful identity is left to be claimed by a natural woman?

Both of these movements are based on humanist dictates of social structures. When the biblical precedents of gender roles and gender identity are dismissed, moral insanity ensues.

Some human beings are capable of seemingly supernatural feats (some not so much), and all of us are susceptible to our carnal and mundane desires, but if we succumb to those desires we rationalize our hedonism and raise our humanity over God's authority. Of course, human beings can exercise their free will and sin against God without the direct puppeteering of Satan, but once a person ignores the authority of God he becomes a humanist. That is why humanism is one of the tiers of the unholy trinity. I will be considering the final tier, atheism, in a future article.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.” I Corinthians 2:12 – 14
