This is the primary lesson I learned from my studies of occult philosophy, and subsequent discernment from God:
There is a blasphemous shadow of the Holy Trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Unholy Trinity is composed of Satanism, Humanism, and Atheism. Much like the Holy Trinity, the Unholy Trinity operates as three separate persons, but exists as one essence.

“You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” John 8:44
*Satanism is the practice of blatantly worshipping the father of all lies. It is an unadulterated acknowledgement that Satan as an entity is supreme in one’s life.

“…but God knows that as soon as you eat of it your eyes will be opened and YOU will be like divine beings who know good and bad.” Genesis 3:5
Humanism is the physical actualization of Satanism. Just as Christ is the incarnation of the Father, Humanism is the embodiment of the lies first perpetuated in the Garden of Eden.

“The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God.’” Psalm 14:1
Atheism is the submission to a dark heart. It is the rejection of the Truth, which is embedded within every person’s consciousness.
Unlike the Holy Trinity (I Corinthians 14:33), the Unholy Trinity deceives by cloaking itself as more than three persons. Every emanation of occultism can be traced back to the Unholy Trinity. All forms of paganism, New Age, self-help, and many other philosophies and religious systems are but offshoots of the Unholy Trinity.
In future articles, I will examine some of these examples in-depth, as well as provide social commentary about how they plague us today.
*Satanism here refers to various historical systems and practices of worshiping the actual entity of Satan, the Devil, or Adversary. However, this should be distinguished from the Satanism popularized in the 20th century by Anton Szandor LaVey, which is a self-proclaimed system of atheistic hedonism and which uses the iconography of Satan for shock value (arguably as an effective marketing tool).
