HaDerekh Or Hades?

-John Moraga

Although we can choose to walk HaDerekh, we can just as easily (in fact, more easily) choose to descend down the Stairway To Heav’ell.

Led Zeppelin remains the premier embodiment of occult* music. Previous millennia of Luciferian musical compositions throughout the world culminated in the works of Led Zeppelin between the years of 1969 and 1980. Obviously, other musical acts have tapped into spiritual elements, as is the constant of secular music, but Led Zeppelin captured the most raw “nature” of the human soul. However, this is not a good thing! The nature of man is antithetical to the righteousness of God (Jeremiah 17:9, Mark 7:21 – 23, I Corinthians 2:14). Unfortunately, even I still catch myself tapping my foot and bopping my head whenever I hear the guitar solo of "Stairway To Heaven" (then a sense of convicting cognitive dissonance falls upon me).

Led Zeppelin were just like their father the devil and were also liars. In addition to their own musical genius and undeniably unique talents, a huge part of their appeal and success was their ability to steal from the works of so many other artists throughout the centuries and claim them as theirs. They have often been accused of plagiarism, because they appropriated everything from 20th century blues, New Age, and pop music to Germanic-Nordic folk and Indo-Middle Eastern music (they even experimented with reggae). However, that is exactly why they had, and still have, such an unrivaled influence on music (yes, even more than the Beatles...much more) to this day and will likely continue to be the standard-bearers of occult music. They figured out and harnessed the musical formulae, which reaches the core of our human nature. Their compositions ranged from hypnotizing melodic ballads fit for a bubblegum-popping little girl to testosterone-fermented Viking raids suited for aspiring death metal aficionados, sometimes within the same composition. Their music titillated the human libido, while also providing a soundtrack for a road trip across mainland America from Woodstock to San Francisco. In fact, they were the adopted sons of Americana. They found a welcoming invitation to our land, because their native England initially rejected them (they would eventually embrace them over time, once they realized how successful they became). Their works were largely panned by British musical critics during the late 1960's, but the generation of sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll in the United States were oh too receptive to their hedonistic symphonies. They invaded our shores like their spiritual forefathers from the land of Ice And Snow and showed us no quarter. They raped and pillaged the American psyche and their spiritual damage has yet to be reversed. However, once they undisputedly obtained their titles as musical overlords in the United States, they rode their ships to new lands pounding the pagan lightening of Mjölnir into the hearts of unsuspecting souls across the globe.

When Led Zeppelin reunited after a nearly three decade hiatus in 2007 for a single concert, more than 20 million people around the world applied for tickets to attend the event. 20 million people in 2007 was approximately 0.3% of the population of the entire world. That may not seem like a lot of people, but that was equivalent to approximately 6.66% of the population of the U.S. in 2007 and more people than reside in the vast majority of small countries around the world. Further, 20 million people is far more than most evangelical Christian revival event requests. My point is that Led Zeppelin burst onto the scene in 1969 and sailed the seas of the world kindling Lucifer’s flame at their every stop. Those embers are still raging.

So much more can be written about Led Zeppelin's legacy, but suffice it to say that they remain the preeminent gods of rock (gods, with a lower-case "g"). The objective of this article is to point out how influential Led Zeppelin has been, and continues to be on the music industry, an industry that is entrenched in occultism.
